The Program's Objectives

  • Estimating the frequency and clinical course of respiratory tract infections caused by RSV in Poland among hospitalized children.
  • Determining the seasonality of RSV infections in Poland.
  • Determining the hospitalization costs and indirect costs associated with RSV infection in hospitalized children.
  • Establishing a surveillance system for RSV infections among young children.
